Keg at Banchory Beer Festival. Clear amber body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of white pepper, biscuit and brown bread. Flavour of honey, pepper, grass and chalky malt. Thin to medium body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. This tastes like it’s from Belgium. Nice beer.

Keg at The Hanging Bat.Pours hazy amber, thin white head, big bubbles. Aromas of honey, orange, marmalade, bread, Belgian yeast. Taste brings this together well, don’t normally light honey beers, but the balance here with the orange and yeast notes is very nice. Medium body, slightly oily texture. Medium dry finish. Good.

Keg at SixDeg North Aberdeen. It pours hazy orange with a small white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, doughy, spice, malted barley, grain, orange peel, muffin and honey. The taste is crisp, bitter, orange peel, sherbet, apple, pear, spice, dough, warming alcohol and hay with a dry finish. Medium+ body and moderate+-high carbonation. I rather Like the balance. Good.
