On cask at Carter’s Tap. Appearance - very cloudy amber with a golden head. Nose - tropical and citrus going on. Maybe papaya. Taste - papaya and apricot. Orange on the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - lovely beer. Lost points on appearance for being unfined but best thing on there today.

Fra fat på Sheffield Tap 15 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Gyldenbrun. Skum langs kanten. Bra aprikosaroma. Smaken tørket aprikos. Tørr etter hvert. Lite variasjon.

While waiting for a train to Derby, Finn and I shared a couple of half-pints at Sheffield Tap. This one from cask had an amber-gold coloured body with a slight haze. Low pearl white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Aroma of oily hops and juicy malts. Malt-fruity flavours of grapefruit and restrained caramel sweetness. Rounded, drying bitter finish. Fine drinkability (Sheffield 15.02.2016).

Keg at Drygate. It pours lightly hazy orange - amber with a small white head. The nose is soft, juicy, fragrant, tangerine, creamy orange, lychee and toasty grain. The taste is crisp, bitter, piney, grapefruit action, tangerine, blueberry, bread and toasty grain with quite a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well rounded and just very drinkable. Tasty stuff.

Clear amber beer with a decent head. Light grapefruit aroma. Taste is grapefruit too but there’s a subtle maltiness undercutting it to balance it out. Not especially memorable but very drinkable.
