On cask @ Cloisters. This was actually 9.2%. Appearance - opaque black with an attractive fawn head. Nose - dried fruit, light sherry and chocolate. Whisky obviously. Taste - more fruit cake notes, chocolate again, slight plum note too. Again whisky but not overwhelming, very integrated. Palate - full bodied with a creamy texture and a rich but balanced finish. Overall - served in thirds but could’ve easily returned for some more.

Cask at cloisters. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aromas of soy sauce, light whisky. Taste is roasted, light whisky, dark chocolate. Lovely.

Cask at the Bow Bar. Pours black, nose is sweet chocolate and whisky, oak, taste is roasted chocolate, boozy. Cask at the hanging bat. Pours black, nose is chocolate, roasted, oak, little soapy, taste is sweet, creamy, rich chocolate, wood.

Cask at the bow bar... Dark black.. Thick tan head... Soft sweet chocolate.. Tiny coconut.. Light mellow whisky nose.... Soft mellow mellow malts great soft body... Massive coconut.. Little too much for me... Dark roast... Dark chocolate.. Mellow sweet malts.. Nice but little too much of the whisky for me Cask at the hanging bat nov 2015 . . Dark black... Small tan head... Dark chocolate roast.. Light whisky nose... Sweet chocolate roast... Dark sweet chocolate roast.. Big mellow roast malts.. Soft chocolate.. Light whisky... Light creamy chocolate roast ..really nice balance 4.3
