After researching the original recipe of 1885, Graham the brewer has recreated a super hoppy IPA that would rival any US West Coast IPA.

With a bitterness of 50 IBU and a fruity, citrusy aroma you wouldn't expect from Fuddles and Goldings, this IPA provides plenty of bang for your buck leaving you with a refreshing, zesty and complex taste on the pallet.

On cask at the sraf. Loads of citrus which dominates the sweet malt on both nose and palate.

Keg at Ushers. It pours clear pale gold with a small white head. The nose is sweet, varnish, plastic, sweet lemon, grapefruit and gooseberry. The taste is crisp, bitter, bone dry, straw, pepper, lemon parfait, grapefruit, grass and a touch of alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Not a whole lot to it really. Rather forgettable...

Cask at Usher’s. Hazy golden body with a fluffy white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of pear and earth. Flavour of grass, earthy hops and apricot. Good bitterness. Medium body with a creamy texture. Faint carbonation prickle. A solid British-style IPA - head and shoulders above Deuchar’s IPA. I love hazy beer but I think this is supposed to be pouring clear...
