Sir Walter Scott's Fair Maid of Perth is the inspiration for this pale straw quaffable brew. Citrus and spicy go hand in glove with fruity pears and currants in the mouth. The finish is silky smooth yet eminently thirst-quenching.

Cask at Number 27, Inverness - sampled June 2015 from historic notes. Pours clear pale golden with a slim white head. Aroma: pale malt, light citrus. Taste: light sweet & light to moderate bitter, pale malt, light citrus, grassy. Light body with low carbonation

On cask at sraf. Golden with a slim head. Lemon barley water. On taste and nose. Light palate but loads of citrus. Decent balance.
