Third beer in my random tasting evening on 5th Dec 14. 500ml bottle: BBD 19th Dec 15, poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard and shared with no one. Light golden hue to the body, slight haze: on top a snow white blanket of bubbles. Weak nose, but all hops. The taste is obviously hop led with a semi-bitter bite and a crisp feel to the flavourings. Prefered both the Progress and Challenger green hop brews from Hobsons better to be honest: this one just seemed pedestrian and bland compared to the other two. Refreshing enough, but lacks the depth and oomph. Would I be able to pick out each of the three beers in a blind tasting? I doubt it, but I know what I like and I am sure this one would come last in that pretend blind tasting.
