Keg at CASC, Aberdeen. It pours cloudy golden with a decent white head. The nose is juicy, doughy, brioche, orange citrus, light spice and earth. The tasre is crisp, bitter, earth, barnyard, sweet doughy, light alcohol, toasty grass/hay and some zesty citrus with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Good punchy bitterness to it. The balance works well for me. Pretty drinkable gear.

(Cask at Gallow’s Bird Real Ale Festival ’15) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had sourness, farmhouse, spiciness and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sourness, farmhouse, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, hoppy and bitter. A nice complex hoppy brew.

Cask@ Gallows bird, real ale festival, 2015. Amber color, thick white head. Floral, yeasty , seasony notes. Citrusy. Flavor has citrus, elderflower, string piney bitterness. Alcohol pushing through quite a lot. Very bitter.

Cask @ Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival 2015
Pours yellowish orange with a small head. Aroma of ripe fruits, yeast, earthy and sweet doughy with hints of estery notes. Taste is smooth, earthy and fruity with some hints of yeast and farmyard. Finish is doughy and stuffy with some fruits and yeasty notes. Quite unbalanced.

Aroma has strong worty tones and raw bun dough. Also some apricot. Reminds me of hiisi beers. Flavour has gooseberry bush, bitter bush leaves, raw bun dough and mint. Feels really raw.
