Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig, heel licht kruidig en met iets van een heel licht zuurtje.

Bottle, 0.5l. Deep golden pour with two finger soapy white head. Very visible carbonation. Ok head retention, decent lacing. Nose is malty, herbal. Touch of hops. Thin to medium body, average carbonation. Smooth texture, slightly thick. Moderately bitter taste. Earthy hops in the aroma, malts, grains. Herbal, peppery, grassy. Slight alcohol presence towards the finish. A bit of acidity. Bitter finish, slightly peppery and a bit dry. Overall, not bad. Ok beer for hot summer days.

0,5 l swing top bottle. Clear and dark golden in the glass with a huge white head. Not a lot on the nose. Malty taste, some sweetness, metallic hints. Flat in the second part. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Average stuff.

Clear amber with lots of bubbles and medium white head. Aroma is dark bread, grassy hops, some esthers. Not musty however. Taste is hops forward bitterness. Not harsh. Very very little malty sweetness. Medium body however heavy esthers in the finish. Easy drinkable but too much esther awkwardness.

Rated from old notes. Hazy gold with a nice head. Refreshing is the operative word. An ideal warm weather beer, a well balanced mix of malts and hops with just the right level of carbonation. Good.
