Passion Phantom, Beavertown’s Passionfruit Berliner Weisse is a true, tart, joy, brewed with Extra Pale Barley and Malted Wheat to a thirst quenching 3.5% then kettle soured with Lactobacillus and infused with piles of Passionfruit puree. Prepare yourselves for a very different beer experience. Draught. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is passion fruits, lactose, coriander and some slight wooden tartness. Flavour is passion fruit, some hay, grass and mild tart wooden notes with some lactose and slight acidity.

Tap @ Fermentoren. Pours bright clear yellow with no head at all. Aromas of yoghurt, pineapple, passion (I guess, tropical fruits really), lacto and slight citrus. Taste is pretty sour up front, some tropical notes alongside with some really lime-like notes.

Draft at Craft 100 - CBC Clapham, London. Pours cloudy, very pale yellow with a juicy passion fruit nose. Brisk tartness in the flavor, with mild acidity, faint cereal, melon, passion fruit and grapefruit. Light bodied with fine carbonation; great condition. Cleansing tartness to the finish, light citric bite, more juicy passion fruit. Lovely beer.
