Bollywood Dream Chai is an intense and spicy tea that is made with a blend of high quality black tea with aniseed, cinnamon, fiery ginger, black pepper, cloves and chicory root. The resulting beer, called Chai.P.A, has a powerful aroma of spices with a hint of liquorice and a flavour that takes on lots of the aromatic chai flavours.

Cask at Cask & Barrel. Clear golden with a thin white head that holds well. Great lacing. Aroma of pot puri, incense sticks, stewed tea and apricot. Really interesting flavour - star anise, black pepper, green tea and a hint of coconut. Thin body with a watery texture. Faint carbonation prickle. An unusual, tasty brew. Very nice indeed.

Cask at the hanging bat. Pours clear amber, thick white head. Aromas of ginger, generic spice, tea. Taste is more of the same, perhaps a citrus note. Spicy black pepper finish. Nice.

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico, 30/05/14. Clear golden with a well appointed off white covering. Nose is spice, curry leaf, marjoram, fruitloaf, perfumed notes. Taste comprises pumpkin pie, spice, herbal tea, root ginger, floral notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad for a SHV !

Keg at the hanging... Golden amber... Thin white lacing... Soft floral oily cinamon nose...dry fruits... Light bitter cinamon... Fruity zezty... Long dry finish... Think id have preferred to taste little cardamom given its name... Oddly little coconut in linger

Cask at CP&K. It pours clear golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is earthy, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. The taste is bitter, earthy, black tea, floral, mild astringency, floral, spice, ginger and plenty of chai tea action with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit astringent for me and not as drinkable as the others.
