Strong single malt extraction from the finest Northumbrian Border Golden Promise pale ale malt. A strong English pale ale with a distinctive spicy blackcurrant flavour and excellent bittering from the English Bramling-Cross hop.

Tap. Friends of Ham, Leeds. As Wylam Silver Ghost Redux. Hazy gold. Thin, white, bubbly head. Grassy and pithy with a sweet digestive biscuit background. Taste is light dry, with an astringency at the end. Ok.

Cask at Cloisters. Pours clear golden amber, thin white head. Aromas of caramel and floral hops, some citrus. More grapefruit on the taste, quite zingy. Lingering bitter finish. Not bad.
