On cask at the White Cross, Lancaster. Appearance - golden with a light haze. Nose - caramel and a bit of dirty earth. Taste - more caramel, plus apples. Shortbread/fudge finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a sweetish middle and end. Overall - solid though more a Bitter or Mild than a Golden Ale.
