Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours deep brown with a thick, frothy beige head. Lovely coffee ice cream aroma with bits of coffee beans and roasted malts. Light to medium sweet flavor, some torched earth, baking cocoa. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Some bittersweet cocoa to finish, earthy bitterness. Nice beer.

On tap at the Holyrood 9a. Appearance - Opaque black with a nice creamy head. Nose - chocolate and cold milky coffee. Taste -ore cold coffee with a chocolate backdrop. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly fresh finish considering the style. Overall - I find coffee stouts a bit one dimensional and enjoyed Stewart Brewing’s beer more because of that. This is a well executed coffee stout by one of Scotland’s best Scottish brewers though.

Cask at Holyrood 9A. Black body with a thin beige head that holds well. Light lacing. Weak aroma of chocolate and coffee with a faint floral character. Flavour of chocolate, smooth coffee, charcoal and a hint of spice in the finish. Good bitterness. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation prickle. Very flavoursome for 5% ABV.
