Cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - dried orange peel and bread. Taste - tangy oranges again almost burnt orange in fact. Palate - medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a slightly cloying finish unfortunately. Overall - damn started well but didn’t make the most if its advantage.

Cask at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours clear, bright gold with a filmy, white cap. The aroma holds hay, biscuits and faint, dry lemon. Light sweet flavor with further biscuity pale malts, slight butter, straw, light rindy citrus. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild sweetness to finish, more doughy biscuits, light bitter straw and dry lemon. Basic golden ale.
