Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a clear gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up a blend of pear esters, spicy hops, floral hops and a bit of a mineral sensation. The taste delivers sweet pear like esters, spicy hops and slightly earthy hops. It gets into a modest floral hoppiness midway and into the finish. Overall this is sweeter and a little heavier than the better offerings in this style.

Draft - Grains and honey. Pale gold with a white little head. Lots of grain, honey and a long grainy sweet finish. Not particularly crisp, but a nice honey flavour throughout.

Tap at Rapp. It pours lightly hazy pale yellow with a small white head. The nose is sweet pale malt, doughy, grass and eggnog. The taste is grassy, earth, dough, light sweetness, dull bitterness and some spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent.

Sampled from the growler at the Cajun Cafe Fall Fest. Pours a hazy amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet grains with crisp yeast and a hint of grass hops. Flavor is similar with sweet grains and grassy hops.
