Growler from the brewery. Pours medium reddish brown color with tan head. Aromas of toasted malts, chocolate and some bread. Similar flavors and a little on the sweet side. Medium body with average carbonation.

Sample at the tap room. Clear mahogany-brown color with a medium light beige head that diminishes gradually. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of malt. chocolate and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, earthy hops and grain. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
