750 ml capped and corked green bottle. ABV is 8%. Cloudy golden brown colour, large head, slightly off-white. The label warns of "very bitter taste". Strong aroma of Belgian ale yeast and hops. The flavour is not "very bitter" in my book, but certainly bitter enough to be interesting. Base notes of fruit and medium sweet malts make the beer very drinkable. Warming mouthfeel from the spices used.

Good, dense yellow head, rather stable over hazy, finely carbonated copper-orange beer. Dry, ground coffee, and a fruity side aroma, difficult to say what fruit. Again outspoken cold coffee, roasted and bitter. Finish is a tad peppery, both in feel as in flavour. Faint sourishness around the edges. Feels quite carbonated, slick and medium bodied. Essentially unidimensional, and unfortunately, far from my favourite dimension...

750ml bottle at Brewdog Edinburgh, cheers to BenH! Pours hazy golden amber, thin off-white head. Aromas of green, unroasted coffee beans, some light funk and caramel. Taste is surprisingly sweet. Light body, milky coffee at the back. Interesting.

Bottle at Chriso going Dutch tasting, 03/07/14. Murky dark orange amber with a moderate light beige covering. Nose is big on coffee grinds, spice, pepper, dark fruits, earthy. Taste comprises more coffee grinds, toffee, earthy, light dirt, dark fruit peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stuff, good coffee vein pulsing throughout.

Bottle @ RBBSG 2014. Thanks Sebletitje! Orange colour, white foam. Low carbonation. Strange malty aroma with bitter coffee notes. Some fruityness and brett. Bit spicy. Decent.
