Bottle sample at a tasting at Naama’s place. Thanks Naama. Black with a light brown head. Aroma of roast, some coffee and chocolate. Sweetish and slightly acidic roasty flavor, with coffee and some cocoa. Medium-bodied.

22oz bottle pours a viscous black with some beige head. Nose has a lot of raisin, lots of molasses, malt, some black pepper, some umami. Flavor has some dried cherry, soured coffee, lightly sweet, a little dark bread, some turbinado sugar. Lightly sour finish. Something is off.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours dark brown with a little tan head. Aromas of oats and roasted nuts, not getting any coffee. Taste has a sour note and some choclate sweetness. Finishes short. OK.
