Bottle from the Glenpark Hotel in Ayr. Appearance - opaque brown to black but with the odd red chink round the edges. Nose - dark and creamy chocolate. Light roast. Taste - more dark chocolate and smoke/charcoal. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. Overall - lovely stout.
