On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - chestnut brown with a nice head. Nose - nuts and sweet malt. A hint of toffee and biscuits. Taste - melded together toffee biscuits and sweet malt. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - a wee beer with a big personality.

Cask at the Pot Still, Glasgow. It pours clear deep amber with a decent off-white head. The nose is soft, light sweetness, caramel/toffee, wood and brown bread. The taste is mildly bitter, toasty, brown bread, cereal, caramel, leather and wood with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Simple and easy drinking stuff. Fine to accompany a malt, but far from a challenging brew.

Cask at Cloisters. Pours clear brown, thin white head. All about the malt this one! Toffee and maltesers. Little thin on the finish, but a nice, malty 60/.
