Keg at the hanging bat. Pours black, aroma and taste of sweet apple, smoky chocolate, light fruit. 3.9 Cask at the hanging bat. Pours black, nose is smoky, wood, fruity, taste is rich chocolate, smoky, fruity, rum, boozy. 4.2

Bottle shared at Craig’s - big thanks to the host. Pours deep brown-black with a creamy tan head. The aroma holds a bit of peat, rich fruits, burnt wood, cocoa. Medium sweet flavor with further dark fruits, iodine, vanilla, peat, char. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Warming finish with some sticky dark malts, more peat, ripe dark fruits, grape, cocoa. Solid.

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours black with a reddish-brown head. Big rum aromas, lots of dark roast and a light red fruit back note. Taste has more spirit, chocolate roastiness and more light fruit. Got fruitier as it warmed up. Nice.
