Cask at the Cambridge, Nicholson’s - Soho, London. Pours clear, bright gold with a creamy white head. The aroma has doughy white bread, some tangy citrus. Light to medium sweet flavor with simple pale malts, cereal, grains, hay, wet straw, lemon rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation and creamy texture. Sweet finish with marginal bitter straw, faint plastic, tangy lemon and white bread. Mediocre stuff, really.

On cask at the Haymarket. This one is really floral on both nose and palate. There’s the expected golden ale with creamy head appearance. Decently balanced and very drinkable.

Cask @ Horniman at hay, London. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, grass, flowers. Flavor is malt, grassy hops, light fruit, flowers. Medium body, soft carbonation. 190913
