This powerful beer, brewed again for the first time in over 10 years, exclusively for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival, is hopped at three different times during the brewing process, resulting in a fragrant character and full hop flavour, with a hint of biscuit in the finish.

Cask at the Beehive, JDW - where the Brixton playas play. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. The aroma holds toasty bread and nuts. Light to medium sweet flavor with whole grain bread, peanuts and some dried citrus. Light in body with fine carbonation. Good condition. Lightly bitter to finish with further grainy bread and nuttiness. So so.
