Keg at Brewdog Edinburgh. Fruity raspberry on nose, sweet dry chocolate roast, not much raspberry in the taste.

Draft at BrewDog Camden on 19 October. Poured black with a thin tan head. Aroma of raspberry cordial, nutmeg and cinnamon. Burnt malt flavours with brown sugar and some tobacco. Finishes with coffee, dry grains and toffee. Not bad, but not quite balanced out.

Aroma of dark roasted malts. Thereโ€™s a hint of raspberry but not much. Flavour has strong, roasted bitter malts with some coffee notes. Again, the faintest hint of raspberry in the aftertaste.

Keg at Brewdog, Edinburgh. One of the nightโ€™s best. Pours black with a good off-white head. Raspberry and blackcurrant aromas, some sherbet and coffee. Good light sour and light bitter taste. Medium body, soft carbonation, creamy texture. Very enjoyable.

Keg at Brewdog shoreditch. Aroma is sharp raspberry, alcohol, and roast. Opaque black with a small fleeting off white head. Flavour is sour cherry, tart raspberry roast coffee finish. Not bad as a sour stout.

Cask at Indymanbeercon 2013. It pours deep brown with a fine light tan head. The nose is rich roast, tangy berry, jam, toast and coffee grinds. The taste is jammy dodgers, roasty, coffee, charred wood, salt, good deal of bitterness and tangy berry with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent jammy dodger aspect to it, but not a whole lot of depth.
