Large foamy off white head on a finely carbonated chestnut coloured body.
Toffee, spice & malt aroma.
Medium bodied, soft with a tingle on the back before a cloying aft.
Tobacco,malt, biscuit, bready & red berry tastes with a bitter lightly hopped finish.
Well balanced & tasty

18/10/2018. Cask at the Roebuck Inn, Nottingham. Pours clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of fruit and veg, caramel, malt and hint of chocolate. Medium sweetness with light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask @ Roebuck Inn, Nottingham. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 181018

Cask @ Roebuck Inn, Nottingham. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, hops and has a nice sweet fruity finish.

Cask (Roebuck JDW, Nottingham) - Copper in colour. Raisins, biscuity malt and toffee feature prominently in both the aroma and the taste. A decent enough bitter.

Cask@Pembury Tavern, London. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel malts, some slight wooden notes, mild resiny notes as well as some mild toasted notes. Flavour is wooden, some mild maltyness as well as some resiny and slightly earthy notes.

Cask, handpump at The Eight Bells, Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire 25-07-10 Pours amber with off-white head, good clarity, some bubbles. Fruity, tangy and with a steady bitterness, some light hoppiness, its actually quite pleasant. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
