Bottle at home. Pours black, sweet, bit too carbonated, bitter roasty chocolate.

Bottle from Cornelius. Black body with a huge tan head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of blackcurrant, plum and cappuccino. Straightforward flavour of coffee and milk chocolate. Medium to full body with a creamy, almost chewable mouthfeel. Lively carbonation. A robust Porter indeed.

500ml bottle from Alesela. Gusher! Lost a bit on opening, even though it was damned cold. Murky dark brown with a massive rocky head. Metallic aromas, but chocolate and toffee underneath. Nice creamy texture, bitter roasty finish. Carbonation way too high! Would like to try as a cask beer.

Bottle (7.5%) from Dunnottar Wines. It pours near black with a thick beige head. The nose is chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, earth, hint of smoke, caramelised banana and burnt toffee. The taste is rich, roasted malt, toast, earth, chocolate, dark fruit, touch of alcohol, light bitterness and ash with a dry, roasty finish. Fullsome body and moderate+ carbonation. Flavoursome and well integrated. A rather well-made porter. Perhaps a touch too much carbonation, but other than that its rather good.
