A dark brew with rich coffee and roasted aromas, complemented with bitter and creamy roasted barley flavours. Dark, dry and definitely delicious!

Aroma: Almost no aroma. Very subtle malt notes.

Appearance: Dark brown body with a foamy tan head. Light lacing.

Taste: Coffee, dark chocolate and a barely detectable lime flavour. Decent bitterness.

Palate: Thin body with a watery texture. Flat carbonation.

Overall: Not the best Stout I’ve ever had but I’d try it again.

Cask @ Diggers, Edinburgh [210312]
Dark ruby brown, dense off white head, well the founts improve the appearance
Aroma - soft roast, touch of cofee, same old caley malt aroma, light aroma
Taste of dark caramel malts, soft roast, bit of cereal, some of that diacetally malt again, soft bitter roast
Palate - Light to medium body, quite smooth
Overall - Hmmmm didn’t rock my boat but wasn’t as crappy as other beers they brew
