On cask up the White Lady. Pours clear golden with a tight white head. Aromas of cereal grains, malt and floral hops. Taste is biscuit, caramel, light lemon. Light bitter finish.

Cask at Grill. It pours clear rich amber with a decent white head. The aroma is earthy, grassy, spicy, wood, toasty grain, biscuit, grass and cereal. The taste is dry, wood, earthy, chewy, leather, toothy, grainy and spice with dry finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. A pretty standard bitter.

Tap at Guildford Arms. Pours reddish. Nose is red fruits and malt. Tastes of toffee, hint of pepper, and fruit. Mildly bitter.

On cask at the Greyfriars Perth. Appearance - a slightly murky amber. Good head. Nose - toffee and malt some biscuits too. Taste - toffee nuts and biscuits but slightly astringent. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish which is actually a little astringent Overall - solid and drinkable but not moreish.

Cask (Guildford Arms, Edinburgh) - Amber in colour. Sultanas, peach and malt in the aroma. Malty and fruity taste with dried apricot, sultanas and caramel detected.
