The rich imperial stout which was brewed with chocolate malt and flavoured with Madagascar vanilla was born from the co-operation with the brewmaster from St. Petersburg.
This proud beer might have fit to the tables of the Czar’s court in the old days but the aficionados of craft beers are entitled to enjoy it nowadays.

Petroleum black ale with a large brown head. Aroma: lots of dark malts, dried fruit, tobacco, chocolate, a hint of metal. Full body. Taste: a lot going on. Nice combination of dry malts and sweetish fruit. Chocolate, again. Light bitterness from both hops and roast. It tastes well, no complaints.

Batch no. 3. Pitch black, with a lightly brown head. Creamy, rich, maybe a bit thin. Taste has a whole lot of roast, nicely bitter. The vanilla seems metallic at first, but opens up nicely into a great addition, makes it sweeter. Lovely beer.
