The rich imperial stout which was brewed with chocolate malt and flavoured with Madagascar vanilla was born from the co-operation with the brewmaster from St. Petersburg.
This proud beer might have fit to the tables of the Czar’s court in the old days but the aficionados of craft beers are entitled to enjoy it nowadays.

Pours black with some beige foam on top. Light lacto nose, milk chocolate, bit of coffee. Taste has toffee, chocolate, some alcohol kick there but superbly balanced and easily drinkable. Abv is nowhere to be seen. Light toasty dry flavor.

Pitch black color. Dark brown head that isn’t that tight and quickly disapaites. Dog food, dark chocolate and tobacco leaves. Not too sweet, decent roasted malt, dark chocolate, tobacco leaves, well balanced, alcohol is not there. Finishes clean with dark chocokte and plums. Nice stuff but depth isn’t amazing as expected.

Schenkt donkerbruin, oogt zwart met licht kaki kraag. Aroma van een volle dikke stout, romig, geroosterd en gebrand, veel donkere chocolade, moutig en graan. F: medium size, tanned, not long lasting. C: dark, opaque, A: cocoa powder, chocolate, coffee, vinous, dark fruits, caramel, vanilla, complex. T: roasted malt, cocoa, bit woody, coffee, peat, chocolate, dark cherries, vinous, vanilla, bit lactose, coconut ?, complex, oily smooth mouthfeel, very good and rich RIS, fully enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Tallinna Kaubamaja Toidumaailm in Tallin, Estonia.

Bottle. Black pour, creamy head. Aroma has creamy mocha, caramel, milk chocolate and fudge. Flavor has creamy mocha, peanut butter, caramel fudge, milk chocolate and some subtle bitter coffee in the finish. This is really delicious.
