Hazy pale gold beer. Palate is slightly soft but with a crisp trailing edge. Minerals. A little creamy malt. Robust hop! Bitter grapefruit with an earthy quality that reminds of Bramling Cross. Distinct medicinal note and bitter floral flavours. Semi dry finish. Aggressive bitter linger. Different!

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 19/05/2012.The usual clear gold colour with a slight white head. Slightly lemony aroma, with a touch of nettle and cereal malts. Flavour had a touch of citrus, some more robust hedgerow fruit and a lingering, bitter finish. Unusual and enjoyable.
