Här har vi låtit vår potenta hjärtevärmare "Idjit!" mogna några månader på ekfat för att ta upp dess runda form i aromen. Trä- och vaniljtoner från fatet fullbordar perfektionen. Avnjutes i små glas med måtta.

Black with a small, but lasting tan head. Big dark, yet well balanced aroma with licorice, chocolate, ink and dark sugar along with vanilla and bourbon oak. Sweetish flavour initially with bourbon and licorice, then follows a wave of (too) hard roasted charcoal impressions, before a long lasting finish of dark chocolate

Bottle at Jan & Charlottes tasting, Ulfborg, Denmark 09.04.11 cheers Jan & Charlotte Pours very dark brown with a light beige head. There is some tasty coffee flavours in this, plenty of warmth from the alcohol sitting on the tongue. A touch of woodiness, things just a little bit harsh, bitter chocolate noted also. Fine. Bottle 25 cl. Pours an opaque black with a tiny light brown head. Sweet oaky aroma, vanilla and licorice allsorts. Medium-bodied only, some hard roasted malts and vanilla, but not overly sweet - rather dry and lightly tart. Unusual. Both the alcohol and the bitterness is fairly subdued in the finish. Definitely a different barrel aged Imperial Stout which is quite refreshing. 050211
