Cask at the brewpub. Another terrible beer name. A mostly clear golden coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is composed of light caramel berry , hedgerow, light grassy. Flavour is composed of tangy wet grassy, dirty grains, firm bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation.

On cask at Alexander ’ s. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - faint honey and cereal notes. Taste - more honeyed cereal. An orangey tang too. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a balanced dry finish. Overall - enjoyable and fairly complex for the low ABV.

Cask: Light amber to amber coloured, smaller stable creamy head, sticking to the glass; delicate hoppy nose with toasty and fruity flavours; light to moderate bitter-flavour, light bodied; lingering fruity and bitter-hoppy finish with a tinge of liquorice. Not earthshaking, but a good session beer.....
