Bottle from Beer Ambleside, Ambleside. Golden coloured bitter with a small head. It doesn't have a high bitterness, perhaps more of a light bitter-sweetness, but the style, accompanied by a good hoppiness, is there. Nice and traditional stuff.

Aroma of malt, buttery caramel and hops. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, average to soft carbonation. Citrus to finish. On cask at Alexander ’ s. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - faint honey and cereal notes. Taste - more honeyed cereal. An orangey tang too. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a balanced dry finish. Overall - enjoyable and fairly complex for the low ABV.
