Bouteille 375ml. Couelur rouge foncé limpide, peu de mousse rosée. Arôme de cerise au marasquin, vinaigre, acidité, brett léger. Goût de cerise surtout en arrière-goût, acidité légère, sûrette. Carbonation élevée, corps moyen.

Not at all bad considering I had a bit of a freezing accident here. Starting to taste alright as it warms up. Smells oaky with lots of cherry. Pours ruby red with lots of pink lacing and head. Taste is fruity sweet, sour and a little bitter. Not super sour, actually. Decent beer to drink. Bottle.

Pale red with a small white head. Strong marzipan and sweet cherry aroma. Dryish and slightly tart flavour with a real cherry character. Quite good for a sweet kriek

(Draught at Örsted Ölbar, Copenhagen, 6 July 2012) Clear red colour with frothy, pinkish white head. Fruity nose with cherries, hints of almonds and a slight acidity. Fruity, slightly tart taste with notes of cherries, almonds and a touch of vanilla. Medium body, sweetish. All signs of mass produced lambic are there, but it’s still quite tasty and refreshing. Enjoyable.

25 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Coop. Purple red with a pink head. Cherry aroma. Taste is also pre-dominantly cherry with a little lambic to back it up. The sourness of the lambic can;t compete with the sweetness of the cherries and sugar so overall way too sweet for my taste.

375ml bottle. Pours fluorescent red with lovely bubble streams and a nicely proportioned head. The nose has actually got a big strawberry note, despite being cherry. There’s also a sherbet sensation on the nose. The taste has light cherry and possibly redcurrants with an elegant dry creamy background profile. The palate is lean and elegant from start to finish with a fizzy texture and a delicate dry finish. Overall, since it has avoided being sickly sweet, this is the style of fruit beer I enjoy.

Green cork and caged 37.5cl bottle, best before Sept 09, drank May 09. Poured into a ’Palm’ tulip shaped glass. Rose wine look about it, pinky red, with a thin white head that became a wisp and collar very quickly. Sweet cherryade smell, but with a sour twist too. The taste was also sweet and sour, very cherry and getting more sour as the beer warmed. A little on the thin side when compared to others within this style. It is almost watery once you get through the fruit flavours. The sweet and sour mix suits my palate and I can see traditionalists pooh-poohing the sweetness and wanting more sourness, but I thought it fine.
