Deep golden look but weak bodied bitter, slightly smooth to drink with a less than mild bitterness to it.

Half pint before noon at Halfway House where it was served from hand-pulled cask. Thin, lacing-head. Clear, dark amber in body colour. Smell of fruity hops and dark caramel. Ditto taste profile, lemony hops with a caramel touch pleasantly offset by late arriving bitterness. Nice (Edinburgh, 14.04.2012).
