No other Norwegian beer has won more international prizes than our Porter. We always include it in our tastings and it has turned many a ”lager lover” on to craft beer. It has a silky smooth mouthfeel with hints of coffee and chocholate. Good with classic stews, but mindblowing with dark chocolate!

Bottle 0.5l at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Brygget 23.07.2013. Best för 23.07.2016. Batch 1003. Colour is black with slightly brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Coffee, some chocolate and roasted malts. So soft but maybe little bit of too carbonated. Overall magnificent.

På fat. Fantastiskt god. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, choklad, torkad frukt med toner av läder, hallon, vanilj och laktris. Bra balans, lagom sötma, en aning vinös men väldigt välbalanserad, fruktig och med en fin beska.

From a 500ml bottle on 18/8/2013 (batch number 648, BB 26/6/2016). Pours a very dark brown with a small head. Has a very pleasant sweet chocolate aroma, with a touch of dark fruit. Milk and dark chocolate dominate the flavour, with some prunes and raisins, a bit of soy sauce, and a mild roasty bitterness. Has a medium body and typical carbonation for the style. A lovely sweet porter.

500 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with huge overflowing head (a bottle gusher). Aromas of dry dark coffee, ash, and roasted malts. Flavors of dark chocolate, chicory, nuts, and some dark fruit. A little hot and other than the gusher, a very nice porter.
