330ml bottle, as Blonde, matured for 37 days, from Bestillingsutvalget at Vinmonopolet. Served chilled. Golden-amber body with a cold haze and a loose, one-finger white head. Moderate, dusty fruity hops to the nose. Fresh fruity hops up front with a discreet, but noticeable, touch of oak and mid-sweet malts behind. Mild and dry ending. Refreshing and fine bodied (Tromsø, 23.01.2011).

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of oak, vanilla and caramel. Taste light sweet. Texture is oily with soft carbonation.

330ml bottle. Clear golden body with a big and stable white head. Mild aroma of caramel malt and vanilla. Flavor is mild and soft malt with caramel, vanilla and a hint of wood, not much bitter. Not bad but pretty average, and that should not be the case with a oak aged beer.

Bottle. Pours a clear, rich gold with a foamy white head. Fairly dank aroma with ferns, fruit and flowers. Very sweet and lightly woody, with flowers, honey and mild oak. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Finishes sweet with caramel, booze and wood notes, plus some wet grass bitterness. Interesting.

Hjemme 21 Sep 10.Fra bestillingutvalget til Vinmonopolet Okt. 10. Gylden på farge. Høyt kremaktig skum som varer lenge. Pent å se på. Svakt søtlig, litt ubestemmelig aroma - men innbydende. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er svakt søtlig med innslag av tre. Søt maltig ettersmak.

Golden with white head some wood in the aroma - malt and olso some hops with hints of vanilla and wood in the background - crisp and quite good to drink

330 ml clear bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.0%. Golden colour, moderate white head. The aroma is first Heineken-like and grassy ("thanks" to the clear bottle), then some sweetish vanilla notes come through. The flavour is fairly sweet with citrussy notes, also strong notes of vanilla, moderate notes of wood. Very moderate hops in the aftertaste.

Bouteille 330ml, courtoisie de Hogtownharry. De couleur dorée et claire. Nez boisé (fût de chêne), de vanille, moyen de butterscotch et de malt sucré aux petites notes terreuses, léger de houblon herbeux et d’arôme d’alcool (whisky) avec des notes de sirop d’érable. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-bas et une texture légèrement crémeuse et aux petites notes liquoreuses. Goût de vanille accompagné de faibles notes fruitées (agrumes) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute rapidement un goût de butterscotch avec un goût de grains de malt aux petites notes rôties et terreuses ainsi que des notes de sirop d’érable. Parallèlement, l’on retrouve un moyen goût boisé (fût de chêne) et un léger goût d’alcool doux et liquoreux (whisky) jusqu’en finale où l’on retrouve également un léger goût de houblon herbeux aux petites notes asséchantes. Post-goût moyen-long et aux petites notes sèches, légèrement amer de houblon herbeux avec un goût boisé (fût de chêne, notes de whisky).
