This was Beer X at the Battle of the Brewers between Stewart Brewing and Williams Brothers at the Queens Arms, Edinburgh on 27th July 2011. It was a half pint from the tap and I went back for more. It pours golden with a nice small head. The nose has predominantly pine and a delicate grapefruit note. The taste has grapefruit and a hint of orange. The palate is medium in body with a creamy texture and a nice clean finish. Overall, this was an easy drinking and tasty beer.
