Bottle, 8C. Clear gold, short white head. Medium bead. Generous malt aroma with citrus, pine and floral hops. Malt is stone fruity and not all that sweet (this cold) and there’s assertive citric bitterness. I’ve been avoiding trying this for some time largely based on the marketing, but it’s pretty good.

Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. For some reason I thought this was going to be awful, but I ended up being quite pleasantly surprised. Poured a slightly hazy yellow with a minimal sized white head,. Nice fresh fruity hop aroma. Lightish body, crisp and hoppy, nice balance to it. Yes, more pilseners should be like this.

Crystal clear golden pour with a persistent but small head.Lots of grassy noble hops and some faint sweet malt, with lemon and a hint of passionfruit underneath. Quite interesting for a pilsener.Flavours include a lot of sweet biscuit dough-like malt (very nice!) and some very faint hops notes. Finishes with a gradual, easy-going bitterness of moderate length. Not exactly balanced for the style (needs to be drier with more pronounced bitterness) but very enjoyable none the less.Moderately light body (would have liked it to be a bit richer), with spot on carbonation.Look up "sessionable summer quencher" in the dictionary and this is what you’d find.Didn’t notice any grainy malt or other problems that other people have commented on - perhaps there’s a problem with consistency at the moment?

Bottle (345ml) Pale golden yellow with thin short-lived white head. Little, but pleasant aroma - fruity, maybe flowery notes, possible hint of vanilla and grass. Palate is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Flavour starts off with a subtle and complex mix - sweet malt and fruit with some bitterness moving to a long quite bitter finish.

Butterscotch, smokey nose. Fruity, light, but undistinguishable. Light finish. Seems they might have an infection problem.
