Brought to life using a lager yeast strain, this beer is a sensory pounder. Ignoring the idea of a traditional lager balance, Guest Lager hops the line and intentionally scales the flavors tied to the ale spectrum. This 8% ABV style bender wrangles an impressive canon of flavor into one place. Did we mention hops? This particular lager hosts enough Nelson Sauvin & Falconer’s Flight to soothe any weary traveler.

Can. It’s a clear, pale golden beer with a finger-thick off-white head leaving some lacings. The aroma is piney and resiny with some pineapple and a touch of pale malts. It’s dry and medium to full-bodied, with a nice co2 level. Pine cones, pineapple and a touch of resins and pale malts in the flavor, with a nice bitterness lasting for a good while. A tasteful and refreshing one, one I could easily slake the thirst with on a hot summer day. If it wasn’t at 8% ABV. 140830

50 cl can @ home
Aroma is heavy and fruity with citrus and tropical fruits. Feels juicy. Flavour is also sweet and heavy with grapefruit, citrus, some gooseberry bush and caramel. Alcohol is present, especially in the finish but it does not disturb. Feels very Mikkeller.

500ml can from Mikkeller Webshop
Pours cloudy yellow with a smooth head. Aroma of grassy hops, zesty tropical fruits, lemon, tart citrus and malts. Taste is fruity, floral and zesty with loads of tropical fruits, grainy maltiness, grass and tart citrus. Finish is warming, grainy, hoppy and lingering bitter with some grassy hoppiness and tropical fruitness. Quite strong, but nicely hopped imperial pils.
