Bottle at home. Oke oke, tenyleg nehez rajta fogast talalni, de azert azt tegyuk hozza, hogy azon tul, hogy stilusaban ujgyakorlat, sok extrat nem mutat. Persze erre mondhatja barki, hogy ugyanmar, ennel tobbet megis mit kene mutatnia, de ezeknek az embereknek is keszen allok a valasszal: hat nemtom, de valamit azert jo lett volna.

Been in the cellar for nearly a decade. Probably a 2015 or 2016 vintage. Brown with a foamy head of modest duration. Brown sugar aroma. Toffee. Spice. Figs. Taste is sweet up front, moderate bitter at the back with a subtle, prune-like fruitiness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, warm at the end, but the alcohol is hardly noticeable. Quite good, but not great.

i tried it a little young, it was bottled in 2006, and i had it just recently, but definetly one of the best i’ve had. Outstanding beer, if you can get yours hands on it. buy it!

Aroma of dark malt, caramel, toffee, dried dark fruits, raisins, fig, spicy yeast. Flavour is medium sweet with a bittersweet finish. Great balance, good full body. An excellent Trappist.

Аромат не резкий, в основе сухофрукты и пряности. Цвет коричневый с сливовым мутно-фиолетовым оттенком. Пена просто шикарна, собственно как и всегда у Westvleteren. Также имеется хороший осадок темными хлопьями. Вкус на удивление тоже плавный и совершенно не резкий. Очень слабая карбонизация, в основе слегка кислые кофейные нотки, на оттенке пряности и сухофрукты. После глотка, неожиданно появляется весьма сильная травянистая горечь. В целом хороший и независимо-оригинальный эль, но не лучший. Хотя не все согласны со мной,судя по рейтингу.
