Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel donkerbruin bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft de geur van rood fruit en wat kruiden. De smaak is hoppig, fruitig en wat zoetig.

330ml bottle, 15.06.20 on the cap. Cloudy dark brown with a frothy beige/light brown head, great retention. Aroma of figs, dried fruits, sugar, caramel. Taste is sweet, sugary dried fruits, caramel, mildly spicy yeast. Quite high carbonation.

Memory check-in. Quality beer(s) but sometimes I wonder if Sint Bernardus isn’t better aa it doesn’t have the ‘cost’ aftertaste

Pours a rich mahogany from a bottle, plenty of head, pillowy marshmallow color. Rich leathery tannic aroma, candi sugar flavor turns into an slightly spiced yeastiness, ends with an interesting very faint medicinal bitterness. Good beer.

Bottle at home bought at In de Vrede a couple of years ago. Dark brown with small beige head. Lots of aromas and flavours going on, caramel, chocolate apple and dried fruit aromas. Also bread/yeast. Taste is bready and fruity with a bit of booze. Very smooth and very nice.
