The Two Roads interpretation of this emerging beer style naturally takes a road less traveled. Unlike other versions, ours employs an American ale yeast and no spices. The result is a soft wheat backdrop that accentuates the Pacific Northwest hop character.

Pours pale yellow into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet jelly bean and yeast aromas. Sharp with marshmallow and hay upfront turning to mild earthy pith in the lasting finish.

Dobre IPA w amerykanskim stylu. Chmielnosc i ten grejfrutowy aromat jest bardzo wyrazisty i tresciwy. Malo trwala piana lecz dosc zadowalajaca, znaczaca swoja obecnosc na szklance. Jasno zlota barwa z niewielka metnoscia. Goryczkowe, bardzo ladnie pachnace, doskonale do objadu i bialego miesa

Tasting glass draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. I asked & I was told that there is no honey in this. I thought that Honeyspot was the brewery name. Hazy pale citrus, creamy white. Nose is weirdly sweet, cornflakes, white sugar, candy, touch cardboard wheat. Taste is weirdly sweet, white sugar, aspirin, cardboard wheat, weird bitterness, medicine & floral, artificial lemon,… Touch metallic. Not a fan to be honest.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Slightly hazy, yellow-golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Citrus-fruity, yeasty and slightly mineralic wheaty aroma with a tinge of lemon peel and delicately peppery spicy notes. Mildly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, rather slim bodied with a moderate, if not a tad tame carbonation. Malty, moderately wheaty base with yeasty and citrus-fruity notes, shades of biscuits and pepper; dry and mildly bitter hoppy finish with citric and discreetly lemony notes. 25.I.15

Flaska från Craftbeer/Galatea. En gyllengul, disig, frisk ganska fruktig lättdrucken IPA. Lite syrliga äpplen, lime, aprikos, vete och tallskott, lätt beska, bra balans, rena smaker. Trevlig.

Smak och doft av humle, citrus, grapefrukt, granskott, vete, örter med toner av koriander, apelsin, aprikos, mango och persika. Torr, lagom sötma, lätt kropp men inte tunn. Fin beska med smak av tall och skal av citrus.

Pours a hazy straw from a bottle. Nose is of piney hops, with something vegetal in the mix. Flavor is a floral bitterness, but not overly hoppy or bitter like many IPAs, somewhat mellow end to the mouthfeel. Good beer.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a super pale, almost white tint and a nice, two centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of alcohol, lemons, yeast, wheat, coriander seed, corn and way more wheat - very nice. Medium-bodied; Assertive hops up front of a herbal and grassy variety with a bit of coriander seed, some curacao, a hint of light spices and a defined and predominant wheat flavour that shows well. Aftertaste shows a nice blend of wheat, yeast and curacao, all with a very light spice touch, showing that hint of bitterness from the hops, but not overwhelming at all. Overall, a nice beer for the style with a little bitterness showing through at the end, but exactly the way it should show through, given the style. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 08-November-2014 for US$2,25 sampled at home in Washington on 16-December-2014.
