Can. Tall Boys, Leeds. Hazy, straw colour. Thin, glossy, white head. Nose has floral, lemony hop. Bit of an Earl Grey tea thing going on. A bit of lemon balm. Taste is light, and floral sweet. Moderate bitterness. Soft, soapy mouthfeel. Light bitter finish. Other than the soapy, floral thing, there’s not a deal going on with this.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Cigarette City. Aroma is strong melon, pineapple, other fruit, mild pine/resin. Appearance is cloudy yellow with finger-width white fizzy head with decent retention, tons of sparkle and nice lacing. Taste is surprising amount of pine up front over fruit. Some spiciness that must be from the American ale yeast. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, average to lively carbonation and dry, lightly bitter finish. Overall, a nice refreshing white IPA that is not your classic IPA.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - hazy golden coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is a mix of tropical and citrus fruits, hoppy and malty, some wheaty notes, some, grapefruit and satsuma, pine needles, light herbal and grassy hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle from The Lazy Dog Slightly hazy deep straw color with a frothy white head that persists. Lemony spicy earthy aromas with bits of citrus hops Light sweet maltiness. Bready sweet malty flavor with bits of cereal malt and light citrus hop flavor. This is a pretty tasty beer, but its not an IPA. hell its not much of a wheat beer either. the carbonic bite is the most bitter thing in this beer.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a glossy yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Lingering speckled to somewhat spider web lacing roamed around the glass.
The smell started off with some white pepper leading on to a sly little bit of citrus (lemon and clementine, mainly).
The taste was moderately sweet with a light spice from the white pepper adequately sliding in for the balance. The aftertaste was moderately sweet with a nice white pepper finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable crisp spicy feel clinging to my tongue. Carbonation is fairly light allowing the spices to hit appropriately.
Overall, what a nice white ipa. I’d have this again and would think this would go well with a nice New York strip steak with crumbled bleu’ cheese on top.

[9/28/15] Draught at Beer Temple in Amsterdam. Cloudy yellow. Aroma of citrus, faint spiciness, citric hops. Flavor is quite dry, with citrus, spicy hint, and a bitter citric hops finish. Medium-bodied.

Cloudy, orange to yellow colored, medium creamy white head, nice lacing. Aroma is witty, bit of spice and orange peel, citrusy hops and some acidity. Taste is low+ sweet wheat, fruity caramel, some citrus and tropical fruits, peaches especially, low+ bitterness and finish. Light to medium bodied, average carbonation. (on tap, Delirium Pub, Brussels, B)

Can, notes from 9/20/15. Clean and hoppy with a bit of citrus fruit. Some light spice / pepper notes as well, that I didn't get as first but showed up as it warmed Pretty drinkable.

Keg sample at beer temple Amsterdam. Translucent golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is leafy lemon, wheat, fresh and clean, floral notes, little pollen. Flavour is composed of wheat, leafy hops, lemon rind, crisp. Palate is crisp fresh grains, light resin, highish carbonation. Hint of spicy citrus rind in the finish. Very well balanced. .
