The Two Roads interpretation of this emerging beer style naturally takes a road less traveled. Unlike other versions, ours employs an American ale yeast and no spices. The result is a soft wheat backdrop that accentuates the Pacific Northwest hop character.

355 ml bottle. Pale golden body with a big, creamy white head. Aroma is rather mild with citric fruit and spices. Rather light in taste as well, medium sweet pale malt, fruity, slightly fruity acidic and moderate in bitterness. Medium to light body and a bit short in aftertaste. A bit to plain and one dimensional.

On tap at Beer Temple. Clear pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of melon, lychee, very fruity, cloying. Flavour is light hoppy, fruity, melon, some pineapple, light wheat, light bitter finish. Light-bodied. Meh.

Draft @ Taphouse, Copenhagen. Pours a slightly hazy very pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity weak citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty floral citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty weak citrus hoppy finish.

Bottle. It pours a hazy, pale golden body under a small, white head. Pale malts, pine cone notes, some pineapple and peaches and quite a lot of generic fruityness. It’s medium to full-bodied, with a soft carbonation level. The flavor has the same fruity things found in the aroma, with some bitterness. Not much malts. Rather weak aroma. Overall, a boring one, neither IPA nor witbeer. 140815

On tap @ Ølbaren, København. Pours light yellow with a big creamy head. Aroma is bitter with lemon and orange peel hops, as well as some notes of peach. Medium body with average carbonation. Flavour is bitter with pine and citrusy hops, as well as some peach and fruity sweetness. Citrusy bitter finish.

Pintas en el Festival de la birra de Avilés el 11_08_2014. Color rubio amarillento y espuma blanca persistente . Sabores ligeros maltosoa y cereales con toques cítricos acentuados. Cuerpo ligero a medio. Refrescante no esta mal.

A hazed blonde IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, nice floral and piney hops with loads of citrus, grassy character, nice. In mouth, a good crisp biscuit malt, loads of citrusy hops, medium bodied, nice. On tap at Brooklyn Ale House.
