Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 5/05/09. Dark chestnut with a moderate, off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts and red fruits. Flavour was well balanced between caramel, bitter chocolate and roasted malts. Finish was lingering and bitter. Good.

Cask gravity at Pembury Tavern. Very dark brown/ruby with lasting beige head. Very tasty mild, bit of almost whiskyish malt. Bit nutty and good roasted flavours. Actually got a bit of grapefruit hop. Good mild.
