Cask via handpump at the Mermaid, St Albans, England on 7th November 2009. Clear gold with off-white non-lacing foamhead. Fruit and spice aromas with grapefruit note in main kick. A few TCP/Cleaning Fluid notes that oughtn’t to be there, and somewhat upset an otherwise rather delicate flavour balance. Slightly chalky texture. Was not a favourite.
