On tap at Gulden Draak Bierhaus in Prague. Pours murky gold with a white head. Plenty of bubblegum esters, banana, brown sugars on the nose. Flavour is very estery, bananas and bubblegum; some fermented wheat. I am not a fan, this feels very poorly calibrated.

Sampled at Max's Belgian Fest 2025 pours a clear, orange, sticky white head. Sugary nose, candy and chestnut honey, estery too. Flavor is sweet, candy, orange peel, nutty with some booze. Full bodied and sticky. Big but also well balanced.

Bottle at Kerstbierfestival, Essen: Under the name of "Ne Prelaat" for the commemoration of the 850 years of the municipality Essen. Clear amber coloured brew thats very sweet due the high alcohol.

Tap at Gulden Draak Bierhuis. Hazy dark amber body, beige head, thick. Lovely aroma really, bubblegum, banana, soft oak notes, bourbon?, sweetish, vanilla, caramel, vague glue. Leaner taste than expected, milk caramel dominates, mildly herbal, dry, vaguely tart. Well restrained alcohol. Dunno, not bad, but the aroma promised a classic, the taste brought a pretty good beer.

Tap at the Waterhuis aan de Bierkant. Orange amber with big bubbly off-white head. Aroma is creamy, caramel, malty, quite sweet and very boozy. Taste is initially sweet and full on alcohol and then mellows into a malty finish. Bit of toffee apple in there further down the glass. Dangerously drinkable for such a strong beer.
