Cask at Chapel Beer Festival. Clear amber beer. Light crisp dry palate. Some dry biscuity malt. Mild bitter hops - dark orange and pineapple. Quite well balanced. Some bubblegum in the finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Cross Hands, Winterbourne Down, S Gloucestershire 27/10/09. Medium brown with a decent, off-white head. Malty, red fruit and brown sugar aroma. Flavour started sweet, before plenty of earthiness and a bitter finish. Didn’t do much for me.
